Quick & easy imports

What can I import into InformerOnline?

To ensure you don’t have to start from scratch with your new Informer system, there are several import options available. The following elements can be imported.
1. Sales invoices
It is recommended to create sales invoices directly in Informer. However, if you've generated sales invoices elsewhere and want to import them into Informer, follow these steps:
  • In your administration, select Advanced.
  • Here, click 30. Sales book.
  • Select the upload button top right.
  • Pick which sales invoices you would like to upload from your database.
  • Add the invoices and potential missing information.
Want to mark your invoices as Paid? Make sure to import all related bank transactions via Bank/Cash. You can then easily link these transactions to the invoices.
2. Purchase invoices and receipts
Upload your purchase invoices and receipts the same way you will always do with Informer from now on. Simply follow these steps:

Purchase invoices:
  • Click Expenses in the left menu, and then Invoices.
  • Select the upload button top right and pick which purchase invoices you would like to upload.
  • Book the invoices under the corresponding category (ledger).
Receipts
  • Take or select a picture of a receipt in the mobile Informer-app.
  • Upload and book under the corresponding category (ledger) in the mobile Informer-app.
Fully process both receipts and purchase invoices by linking them to a payment in Bank/Cash.
3. Bank transactions
There are three ways to load your bank transactions: via a direct integration, special bank files, or by manually creating them.

Direct integration
  • Add a bank account under Settings > Bank accounts.
  • Connect Informer to your bank through Settings > Bank connections.
  • Follow the verification instructions of your bank or Ponto.
  • Transactions will automatically be imported under Bank/Cash every day.
Bank files
  • Add a bank account under Settings > Bank accounts.
  • Download CAMT.053 or MT.940 files at your bank. (Type dependent on bank)
  • Upload the bank files through Bank/Cash > Upload Bank mutations.
  • Keep in mind that you’ll need to repeat this process for each period, so it’s recommended to establish the link as early as possible.
Manual bookings
  • Add a bank account under Settings > Bank accounts.
  • Go to Bank/Cash.
  • Click New top right.
  • Create a transaction and add its data.
  • Remember, you’ll need to do this for each transaction, which is why it's advisable to link your files or use automated imports.
4. Contacts, products, and journal entries
You can also import contacts, products, and individual journal entries into InformerOnline. To do so, you need to follow specific instructions, which you can find below:
5. Chart of accounts (accountants only)
As a financial advisor with a free accounts portal, you can upload your own chart of accounts instead of using the default one.
