We store this data for you on our three front-end servers, located in different locations. These AWS (Amazon Web Services) servers are situated near Frankfurt, Germany, and are all protected by 'Web Application Firewalls,' ensuring that the servers are safeguarded against potential attacks.

How do we keep your data safe?
When you work with InformerOnline, all your data is encrypted, meaning no one can access it without authorization. Additionally, InformerOnline has the most comprehensive SSL certificate available. An SSL certificate is a security protocol that ensures information exchanged between the web server and your browser remains confidential.

Backups and authentication options
Real-time backups of the entire database are continuously created. Thanks to our intelligent backup system, users won’t notice any changes or updates— this is known as 'Fail over.' Moreover, we cannot access your data without explicit authorization, which must be granted during a call to our Helpdesk.
For even greater security, two-factor authentication (2FA) can be made mandatory for all users within your account. If you have multiple users and one is designated as the administrator, this administrator can enforce 2FA for all other users.

InformerOnline holds several prestigious security certifications, including "Betrouwbaar Boekhouden" in the Netherlands and "Trusted Cloud" in Germany. These certifications aren’t easily obtained; we must meet nearly 300 requirements, known as the 'standards framework.'
To stay up to date with these standards, we undergo an annual audit by an independent examiner to ensure we continue to meet all strict requirements. Additionally, regular 'penetration tests' are conducted, where an external 'ethical hacker' attempts to breach our servers and tests the latest potential vulnerabilities in our systems.
